Step to Transplant Lettuce Seedlings

1.    Lettuce does not have a particularly deep root system, medium or small size container have plenty of room is appropriate for transplantation. I sow seeds in small terracotta clay pot have well drainage holes. After care seeds germination in 7 days and gets healthy seedling after 20 days.

2.    When lettuce 2 to 3 leaves comes out its better to transplant according to your choice of containers. Clean your container before transplantation because bacteria and insect egg damage your seeds as well as plants.

3.    After transplantation place the container in proper sunlight having 6 to 8 hours sunlight.

4.    The soil should be thoroughly moist, but not soaked.

5.    Increase the ration of Nitrogen for new leaves and healthy growth

Care:

1) Keep the lettuce cool. Day temperature set at 65 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit (18 to 21 degrees Celsius) is ideal for growth. 

2) Lettuce seedlings need 6 to 8 hours of bright light in order to grow full, bushy leaves.

3) Balanced fertilizer of NPK in water solution so becomes healthy plants
